Thank you for visiting Learning Life’s Footwork! I am grateful you have taken the time to read my blog.
About the Blogger
Hi everyone, I’m Laura. I am a married, 30-something year old who purchased my first house with my husband Elliot in the suburbs of Chicago in 2014. I work full-time in marketing and product development and after spending many years working in paint, kitchen tools, and automotive, I have learned a lot of random but useful information that I would love to share with you! I also can be an excessive perfectionist so I spend a significant amount of time researching many topics to try to become as much of an expert as I can.
My passions are dance (yes the blog title is an ode to my years of dance), decorating, reading, and trying new activities. I am on a journey to turn my house into my dream home and to become a healthier, happier, and most importantly, less stressed person.
About the Blog
“Footwork is one of the primary prerequisites to becoming a great player.”
~Mike Kryzewski
Whether in dance, sports, or life, footwork is one of the fundamental keys to learning, developing and later mastering skills. As we get older though, learning all the fundamentals of becoming an adult becomes more daunting. There is not a quick-read manual or class on life and often we lack the time to immerse ourselves into everything we would like to know.
I want this to be a place where I can share with you what I learn along this journey and you too can share your knowledge. Lets jump in together as we experience Learning Life’s Footwork.
